Idolized

The mountains I cannot move
Would have all my time
And every ounce of my ingenuity
The stars I cannot reach
Would have my heart anyway
The dreams I cannot see
Would have me living another
reality
All my impossible goals
Would have ahold of my fate
To twist their way,
But I would be a man
By my own hand.
I hug the earth,
Grasping my plow firmly,
Straightening my back
And forging forth
Upon a conquest of everyday
It is enough for me.
PS. This is one of my favorite poems from...
...and is a perfect New Year's Wish for everyone!
